Text Readability Analyzer

A command-line tool written in C that scores how easy or hard a piece of text is to read, using the Flesch Reading Ease formula, and maps the result to a US grade reading level.

What it counts

• Words, sentences, and syllables in the input file

• count_sentences(), count_words(), and count_syllables() do the parsing

• A custom linked-list char_node type backs the text processing

Assumes standard English text and punctuation. Useful for anything from picking age-appropriate children's books to checking whether a research proposal or business document reads as clearly as it should.
