Sentiment Analysis
Tweet Sentiment Classifier
Solo Developer · 2023 · Personal Project

This Python script leverages the Flair NLP library to perform sentiment analysis on a collection of tweets. The sentiment model classifies text into one of three categories: positive, negative, or neutral, allowing users to analyze the general tone of social media content.
Key features
Sentiment classification: automatically detects whether a tweet's sentiment is positive, negative, or neutral
Flexible data source: Twitter API v2 for real-time tweets, or a hardcoded fallback set when API access isn't available
Flair integration: high-quality text classification with minimal setup
Note
Live data via Twitter API v2 may require a paid subscription. For demonstration purposes, the script includes a fallback that analyzes a set of hardcoded tweets, useful for anyone without API access.
Usage
Once running, the script outputs the sentiment of each tweet in the dataset, giving a quick read on the tone of the content.
